Nine languages.
One pocket library.

LinguaDict pairs a fast, offline dictionary with real exam practice — listening, reading, writing, grammar and speaking — so the words you look up are the words you actually learn.

Coming to the App Store See what's inside

Free dictionary forever. Learning packs unlock per language.

Built around how people actually study

Every module ships as its own downloadable pack, so you only keep what you use.

Dictionary that works offline

Look up 100k+ entries with no connection and no account. Results appear as you type.

Five skills, not just flashcards

Listening, reading, writing, grammar and speaking drills drawn from real exam formats (Goethe, telc, TestDaF, IELTS, TOEFL, and more).

Text-to-speech everywhere

Native-quality pronunciation for every entry, sentence and exercise — on device, without waiting for a server round trip.

Graded exam banks

Pick your level — A1 through C2 — and practise questions that match the real thing, with answer explanations.

Reading library

Short stories and graded readers with tap-to-define words, so vocabulary grows in context.

No account required

Questions

Does it work without internet?
Yes. Download a language pack once and the dictionary, lessons and audio work offline. Packs are a few dozen megabytes each and can be removed any time.
Where does the content come from?
Dictionaries and exercise banks are built and reviewed in-house, with AI-assisted generation for the newer languages and human review before release.
Do I need an account?
No. The dictionary is usable immediately. An account only matters for purchases that should follow you across devices.
Which platforms?
iOS first, with Android following the same feature set. Both are in active development.
What data do you collect?
Very little. See the privacy policy for the exact list.
